Your Pets Comfort
Pain management is necessary for surgeries and dentals as well as illnesses such as cancer and osteoarthritis. Your pet's comfort will be foremost in mind. We offer a range of medicines and nutraceuticals to help ensure your pet's comfort and to aid in its quality of life. We also use laser therapy as an adjunct to manage pain.
Additional therapies to help aid in pain management include the use of: polyaminoglycans, nsaids, narcotics, physical therapy, heat and cold therapy, Librela…Each patient is assessed individually and recommendations are made so as to best improve the pet’s quality of life.
Sometimes pain can be difficult to access by an owner. If you're unsure as to whether your pet is experiencing pain, ask us to do a pain assessment on your pet which includes a questionnaire and a video of your pets movement.
K-LASER
K-LASER therapy does not treat conditions, it stimulates the body’s inherent healing mechanisms via a process called photobiomodulation. Through a combination of different wavelengths, power and frequency of laser light K-LASER is able to achieve improved healing times, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling. Laser Therapy has been utilized in human and animal medicine for many decades, however recent technical advances in laser miniaturization has allowed laser therapy to be used for a wider range of patients.
